What is a thread post on Instagram? A threaded (or carousel) post is a post that has multiple photos or videos that can be viewed when we click or swipe left. You can add up to 10 images or videos and share them as a single post to your feed. Just like any other Instagram post, you can include a description, alt-text , geotag, your account, and product tags on each image in your sequence. People can like, comment, and share your threaded post, just like they do everyone else. When a thread post is published, a small icon appears in the top right corner. When someone moves to the second image, the icon changes to a counter indicating the number of slides.
